Audi­tions will be held on tors­taina 20.3.2025 klo 16.30–18.00 Ruskea­suolla seura­kun­ta­keskus Rastissa, osoit­teessa Tenho­lantie 6. Varaa itsel­lesi aika ja kysy tarvit­taessa lisää lähet­tä­mällä sähkö­postia osoit­tee­seen rekry@lempikuoro.fi. Laita viestiä myös, jos haluaisit tulla koelau­luihin, mutta koelau­lu­päivä ei sovi sinulle.

Koelau­luissa paikalla on kuoron­joh­taja Julia sekä neli­hen­kinen musiik­ki­lau­ta­kunta. Koelau­luun vara­taan aikaa noin 15 minuuttia ja se sisältää seuraavat osiot:

∙ Inter­view
∙ Range testing with short melodic exercises
∙ Your own chosen song to sing without accom­pa­ni­ment
∙ Kolme päivää ennen koelaulua lähe­tet­tävä lyhyt kvar­tet­ti­lau­lu­teh­tävä.

Kappa­leesta on tarkoitus harjoi­tella oma stemma niin, että sen laula­minen sujuu osana yhtyettä ja tulkin­nassa huomioi­daan esimer­kiksi dyna­miikat.

𝑲𝒖𝒐𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒂
Vuonna 2019 perus­tettu helsin­ki­läinen Lempi­kuoro palkit­tiin vuoden 2023 Tampe­reen Sävel ‑kuoro­kat­sel­muk­sessa kahdella kulta­lei­malla. Neljäs­tä­kym­me­nestä koke­neesta laulu­har­ras­ta­jasta koos­tuva seka­kuoro on tehnyt ennak­ko­luu­lot­to­masti yhteis­työtä monen­laisten kuorojen, artis­tien ja sävel­tä­jien kanssa. Lempi­kuoro on muun muassa esiin­tynyt palki­tussa Sun & Sea ‑ooppe­ra­teok­sessa sekä toteut­tanut Pulitzer- ja Grammy-palkitun yhdys­val­ta­lais­sä­vel­täjän Caro­line Shaw’n To the Hands ‑teoksen Suomen kantae­si­tyksen Nome-jousiyh­tyeen kanssa.

Kuoroa johtaa Julia Lainema, joka on valmis­tunut Sibe­lius-Akate­mian kuoron­johdon koulu­tus­oh­jel­masta vuonna 2022. Lainema johtaa myös Ahjo Ensembleä, Kaari-ensembleä ja Kama­ri­kuoro Näsiä. Kuoro harjoit­telee taval­li­sesti torstai-iltaisin Helsingin Ruskea­suolla. Tartu tilai­suu­teen ja hae mukaan Lempi­kuo­roon!

✨ We are looking for new Lempi­kuoro members for the following voices: ✨

∙ Tenor I and Tenor II
∙ Bass II

Audi­tions will be held on Thursday, March 20th from 4:30 PM onwards at Ruskeasuo Parish Centre Rasti, located at Tenho­lantie 6. Reserve your audi­tion time and feel free to ask for more infor­ma­tion by sending an email to: rekry@lempikuoro.fi. Also, let us know if you would like to audi­tion but the sche­duled date doesn’t work for you.

During the audi­tions, you will meet the choir conductor Julia and a four-member music committee. The audi­tion will take approxi­ma­tely 15 minutes and will include the following:

∙ Inter­view
∙ Range testing with short melodic exercises
∙ Your own chosen song to sing without accom­pa­ni­ment
∙ A short quartet singing task that will be sent three days in advance.

You are expected to learn your part so that you can sing it as a part of the ensemble, interpre­ting dyna­mics and other nuances. Warmly welcome to the audi­tions! 💛

𝑨𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒊𝒓
Lempi­kuoro was founded in 2019 in Helsinki and was awarded with two gold stamps in the 2023 Tampe­reen Sävel chorus review. This mixed choir composed of forty expe­rienced singers has worked together with a wide range of choirs, artists, and compo­sers. For example, Lempi­kuoro has performed in the Sun & Sea opera and performed Pulitzer- and Grammy-winning US composer Caro­line Shaw’s piece To the Hands in its Finland premiere together with the string quartet Nome.

The choir is conducted by Julia Lainema, who graduated from the Choral Conduc­ting programme in Sibe­lius Academy in 2022. Lainema is also the conductor for the choirs Ahjo Ensemble, Kaari ensemble and chamber choir Näsi.

The regular rehear­sals take place on Thursday evenings in Ruskeasuo, Helsinki.
